Peter Moehring is the Managing Director of Security Network Munich, an international recognized platform for security experts from industry and academia to promote information and cyber security in business and society. Established in 2012 in Munich, the Security Network Munich creates different formats and activities for its members and the public to develop strategies and best practice to effectively mitigate cyber risks. The Network comprises around 85 companies and organizations engaging more than 1600 people through its activities. Peter has been working for the smart card division of Giesecke+Devrient in a range of different management positions since 1998 and was also located to Spain and Japan for several years.
Security Network Munich - Europe’s leading expert network for information security
The Security Network Munich (Sicherheitsnetzwerk München) is an association of leading players, organisations and research institutes in the field of information and cyber security in the greater Munich area. Its goal is to foster industry cooperation through joint research and innovation projects. Members and partners meet regularly to discuss pressing industry challenges with government and research institutions. Set up as a project funded by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs ten years ago, the network founded the non-profit association “Sicherheitsnetzwerk München e.V.” in January 2019. The association will promote cooperation and exchange among its members across different industries and academia, foster innovation projects and education initiatives directed especially to students and young adults. The Security Network Munich is committed to engage -together with its partners- in awareness and best practice campaigns with special emphasize on business and industry. Within the team of Invest in Bavaria, Anissa assists international hightech companies to expand and establish themselves in Bavaria. She is responsible for the specialization field digitalization and particularly interested in working with companies from the cybersecurity sector.
After her studies of French literature (Romanistik) and communication science at the Ludwigs Maximilians University in Munich, Anissa worked as an editor, language teacher and manager of a language school before joining the Invest in Bavaria Team in Munich. She gained a lot of international working experience while living abroad, in France, Great Britain and Greece for several years, and always enjoyed working in a multinational setting.

Idris Hashim is a Manager Investor Services at Invest in Bavaria, where he focuses on digital and mobility topics. Before his role at Invest in Bavaria, Idris worked for the Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (bbw-Gruppe). There, he was responsible for a chamber and association project (KVP) in Ethiopia and had short-term expert assignments in Uganda, India, and Honduras.
In terms of education, Idris holds a Master of Science in Economics and Institutions from Philipps-Universität Marburg and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. He also studied abroad at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain and at the Universidad Popular Autonoma del Estado de Puebla in Mexico. During his studies, he was able to gain experience as a photographer and supported companies at international trade fairs and events.
Idris is fluent in several languages, including German, English, and Spanish, and has basic knowledge of Italian and Persian.

Christian Weber is CEO of Bayern International. As co-managing director, he is responsible together with Martina Maschauer for the overall management and coordination of the Bayern International GmbH. He is in charge of the business division Invest in Bavaria.
Bayern International is a company of the State of Bavaria that supports Bavarian companies to expand their business worldwide and companies from abroad to establish a business site in Bavaria, in order to promote foreign trade and attract direct investment. Together with the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Bayern International operates the Business Promotion Agency Invest in Bavaria.
Christian has many years of experience in operational and policy issues relating to business promotion and internationalization. He joined Bayern International in 2003. From 2009 to 2021 he was Director of the Bavarian Representative Office in Mexico and up to 2024 deputy managing director of Bayern International.
Julien Reisdorffer is an experienced cyber security expert with over 20 years of professional experience, including 10 years in digital forensics and incident response. He has held senior positions at renowned companies such as Microsoft, Mandiant, DCSO, SentinelOne and is currently working at aDvens. His expertise includes the investigation and remediation of cybercrime and APT incidents.
Thomas Hemker is responsible for the Threat Intelligence Service and the DCSO Advisory Board. He has been working in the field of IT, information and cyber security for 29 years. In addition to his work in Symantec's EMEA CTO Office and as Field Engineering Manager at PGP Corporation, he has worked and continues to work as an expert and technology consultant in the industry. As a speaker, author and lecturer in cyber security at a university of applied sciences, he actively participates in community dialogue. In industry associations and committees (e.g. TeleTrust, ITU-T, ISACA, BSI Expertenkreis) he works on standardisation topics, among others. He is a founding member of the German (ISC)2 Chapter and was part of the ENISA Threat Landscape Stakeholder Group and the ISF (Information Security Forum) Advisory Council.
Tobias Wicke works as a red teamer and penetration tester for the company NSIDE ATTACK LOGIC GmbH. He specialises in malware development, Windows Active Directory and Azure - in his own words, everything that has to do with Windows. He was already able to prove this as a working student when he designed and developed NSIDE's ‘in-house’ Trojan. During his time after his studies, he was able to participate in several Red Team engagements and test the malware developed there directly under real conditions.
Anne Kristin Kuttert is Managing Director at Accenture and heads the Security Banking division in Germany.
She supports banks and financial service providers in achieving regulatory compliance in the area of cyber security. Besides that, she also helps to continuously improve the maturity level of IT security in banks. As a former financial auditor, she combines both regulatory knowledge
and technical expertise with the aim of developing and increasing the maturity level of her clients' IT security as cost-efficiently as possible. She has over 20 years of professional experience in advising and auditing banks and financial service providers - always at the interface between IT and regulation. After studying business administration and business informatics, she passed various exams - most recently on the topics of cyber security at Harvard University and artificial intelligence at MIT.
Kai Hermsen lives in Munich and is co-founder of the twinds Foundation based in Brussels, which is dedicated to open source software development, especially around decentralised digital identities. With his involvement in the twinds Foundation, he is committed to innovative solutions that improve the trustworthiness of the digital space through modern technologies.
Kai Hermsen works together with the Munich Security Network as a Strategic Advisor to give the topic of cyber security more visibility, to connect the various players even better and, in particular, to strengthen the topic of innovation and start-ups. Futhermore, Kai Hermsen is a member of the ‘Digital Trust’ working group at the World Economic Forum (WEF) and is involved in other international cybersecurity education providers on a voluntary basis. In these roles, he actively works to promote trust in digital technologies and to ensure that companies and organisations handle their data securely and transparently.
Previously, Kai Hermsen worked at Siemens, where he drove security standards for the digital economy as head of global cybersecurity strategy and the Charter of Trust. In this role, he was instrumental in addressing security issues at a global level and raising awareness of the importance of cybersecurity.
As a balance to his professional activities and digital worlds, Kai Hermsen loves to spend time with his wife, two daughters and their dog in the beautiful nature in the south of Munich.
Dirk von Manikowsky is a partner in the Düsseldorf office of FGS Global and is responsible for the Crisis Management Practice for Continental Europe. Companies and organizations facing challenging crisis and change situations rely on his 25 years of experience and expertise. His focus is on communications advice in criminal or civil litigation, antitrust or fraud proceedings, compliance issues as well as cyber incidents. As an author and speaker on the topics of litigation, cyber and crisis communication, he publishes in legal publications and regularly lectures on the subject.
Dirk has advised numerous clients in the retail sector and has in-depth knowledge of the automotive, pharmaceutical, banking and insurance sectors. He also advises CEOs and executives to personally prepare them to successfully master difficult situations and communication challenges.
Until 2011 he headed the press and public relations department of private bank Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. and served as the group’s press spokesman in Cologne and Luxembourg for six years. Previously, he worked for nine years as an advisor focusing on financial and crisis communications in Cologne and Düsseldorf. Dirk studied communications, political science and English literature.
Dominic Haussmann is an experienced IT security expert with over 15 years of experience in IT security. His expertise spans various areas, particularly in IT and network security. Before joining Cloudflare, he gained valuable experience at renowned companies such as CrowdStrike and Fortinet. At Cloudflare, his focus is on advising clients in the area of Zero Trust, a modern security strategy based on strict access controls. He possesses a comprehensive understanding of the current threat landscape and is dedicated to helping companies strengthen their security infrastructure and effectively defend against cyberattacks.
